After reopening on November 11 ATM’s will be re-calibrated to dispense banknotes of Rs 100 and Rs 50.
At least one cassette in every ATM will be configured to dispense Rs 100 banknotes immediately.
The Cash Deposit Machines and Cash Recycler’s will accept specified notes only from the card based authentication.
Banks will remain opened for extra hours if needed for exchange services.
In every bank information regarding help line should be displayed in bank branches and on bank’s website also.
RBI today issued a press release stating that it will print new 1000 Rupee notes in few month.
One thing which should be kept in mind here is that every limit be it on exchange, withdrawal, deposit or anything is not permanent. It can be changed according to the convenience and in the well being of the public at large.
So we don’t need to panic as RBI is coming each coming day with new set of instructions to help the people facing challenges.
