Paytm finally has attempted to make things simpler.
To use Paytm offline service user can call toll free number 1800 1800 1234 to transact or send money to another Paytm wallet.
To use this, as a first step the merchant and the customer both need to set their 4 digit Paytm pin on call. Then they should enter the recipient mobile number, amount and their Paytm pin to transfer the money.
Note- You need to have an existing Paytm account. For calling on the toll free number you should dial from the number registered with the Paytm.
This service of Paytm will ease the business in India. As a lot of users in India doesn’t keep internet in his phone for 24*7 or Sometimes the connection loss also happens. In these situations offline use of Paytm will reduce the fear of losing the transaction.
